Fifty-four years ago, the United States broke diplomatic relations with Cuba, and three young Marine guards volunteered for one final act of duty: lowering their country’s flag before returning home. A fashion designer graduated from BGMEA University Of Fashion And Technology (BUFT), Md. Iftekhar Rahman has recently been selected for the prestigious Equity & Merit Scholarship awarded by The University of Manchester (UoM).
Iftekhar is going to start his MSc at International Fashion Retailing from September 2015 under the scholarship scheme.
