A new executive body of Jahangirnagar University Debate Organization (JUDO), the central debate unit of the university, was formed here at the campus on Wednesday for the next one year.

Immediate past president Nur-E-Alam declared the 21-membered new body in a grand gala ceremony of eighth founding anniversary of the organization.

Observing the anniversary JUDO organized a cake cutting programme and a fun debate in Muktamancha on campus.
Pro-Vice Chancellor (Admin) Prof Afsar Ahmed addressed the ceremony as chief guest while Pro-VC (Education) Prof MA Matin and founder president of JUDO Abdullah Ahmed Chawdhury Mamun were also present as special guest and Prof ATM Atikur Rahman as moderator.
Others office bearers are Vice-President Mahfuzur Rahman Sumon and Shuvo Mojumder, Joint Secretary Sabbir Ahmed, Israt Sarmin Sharma and Prosenjit Chandra Roy, Organizing Secretary Tasin Nasir, Treasurer Mahmudul Hasan and office Secretary Asrafuzzaman Majumder.
JUDO also observed half century of their trophy winning participating in debate competition across the country.
