PSC, Ebtedayee mark brilliant success

The results of the Primary School Certificate (PSC) and Ebtedayee terminal examinations-2013 were published on Monday with 98.58 and 95.80 percent pass rates respectively.

A total of 2,40,961 examinees of PSC and 7,253 of Ebtedayee secured highest grade point average GPA-5 this year.

PSCA total of 29,61,237 students– 14, 36, 253 boys and 15, 48, 984 girls–sat for the PSC and Ebtedayee examinations, where 27, 45, 614 came out successful.

A total of 24, 83,142 (98.58 percent) students out of 26,39,045 passed the PSC examinations while 2,62,472 (95.80 percent ) students out of 3,22,192 achieved success in Ebtedayee examinations.

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid handed over the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her official residence, Ganabhaban, at about 10:30 am.

Sheikh Hasina then formally published the results.

The students will get their results after the Education Minister’s press briefing at around 12:30 pm at the ministry.
