OnMobile Global gains after pact with Robi Axiata

OnMobile Global rose 1.42% to Rs 35.65 at 11:55 IST on BSE after the company said it has signed an agreement with Robi Axiata in Bangladesh to deploy various ringback tone and interactive voice response solutions.

The announcement was made during market hours today, 9 July 2014.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 36.94 points or 0.14% at 25,545.17.

ROBI-logoOn BSE, so far 11.67 lakh shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 10.76 lakh shares in the past two weeks.

The stock hit a high of Rs 36.30 and a low of Rs 30.05 so far during the day.

OnMobile Global (OnMobile) said it has recently started managing the ringback tone service for Robi Axiata (Robi) and will leverage that partnership to deploy more features and introduce new innovations beginning with its popular reverse ringback tones service.

Robi is the third largest mobile operator in Bangladesh with 24 million subscribers and has 21% market share with a savvy subscriber base having high ARPU.

OnMobile Global reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 139.16 crore in Q4 March 2014, higher than net loss of Rs 8.37 crore in Q3 December 2013. Net sales declined 0.15% to Rs 225.12 crore in Q4 March 2014 over Q3 December 2013.
