All Bangladesh citizens working abroad would hopefully get machine readable passports (MRPs) by March 2015,
State Minister for Home Affairs Asaduzzaman Khan told Parliament on Wednesday.
“Issuing machine readable passports (MRPs) for Bangladesh citizens abroad has already started…it’s expected that all Bangladesh citizens working abroad will be provided with MRPs by March 2015,” he said, replying to a scripted question of M Rustom Ali Faraji (Pirojpur-3).
The State Minister also said that MRPs are already being given to Bangladesh citizens abroad through 41 missions out of 65 Bangladesh missions abroad, reports UNB connect.
