Monir Ahmed Academy spreads light of education

Monir Ahmed Academy( Pvt ) Cadet College is  spreading the light of education  in the rural environment outside the Sylhet city. Situated at turukkhola in South Surma, this  institution has already achieved an enviable success in JSC, SSC as well as in all kinds of examination under  Sylhet Education Board. With all the high class facilities, this academy now only needs the efforts of all.The academy will go a long way if the education minded people along with the inhabitants continue their co-operation by admitting students.

AcademyFounder and Chairman of the Academy, industrialist Monir Uddin Ahmed and the Principal  Ujjal Kumar Saha have expressed their expectations and plans about the Academy in an interaction with the local reporters. Journalists from various print and electronic media took part in the meeting.

The academy was established in 1994 in Sylhet divisional city, the meeting informs. It is situated in turukkhola village under moglabazar thana in South Surma upazila. The college has been built over 40 acres of land beside the main road.

Directed by Monir Uddin Ahmed Education Trust, there are all kinds of high class educational facilities in the academy. It includes – modern classroom for students, library enriched with some 3,000 local-international books, laboratory enriched with scientific equipments, projectors , computer lab with multimedia, separate hall room, medicine room, sports room with various items, guest room, office room, mosque, dining room, canteen, playground, an internatinal standard four-storeyd hostel (264 seats) with various flowers and fruit trees, pond, a four-storeyd residential building for teachers, principal’s bunglow where there is beautiful, pleasant and proper environment for education.The institution  has achieved hundred percent success as well as A+ in the JSC and SSC for the last three years.

Vice Chairman of the Academy Nurul Islam, member of the managing committee Dr. Jamilur Rahman and teachers were present in the meeting.
