Jahangirnagar University Journalist Association (JUJA) observed the 43rd Victory Day with due respect and befitting manner on Monday.
A good number of journalists led by its president Kamran Seddiqui placed floral wreath to the monument of National Memorial at Savar.
Among others, Vice-President Nazmul Haque Zenith, Joint-Secretary Joni Alam, Treasurer Mamunur Rashid Saikat and office Secretary Bachchu Sheikh Rabin were also present on the occasion.
Earlier, on behalf of university authority including its administrative personalities including different bodies of department and residential dormitories paid homage through placing wreath.
Marking the day national flag was hoisted in all administrative, academic, and residential building.
Besides, observing the day ‘Photographic Society’ organized a photographic exhibition on the premises of university Shaheed Minar.
The whole university wore a festive mood and a grand dinner was served in the residential dormitories on night.
