IU ‘D’ unit test held with missing 19 questions!

The admission test of Islamic University (IU), kushtia first year honours course of ‘D’ unit under faculty of Applied Sciences and Technology on 2nd shift was held with missing 19 questions Tuesday. The authorities of IU formed a three member probe body on this regard.

Sources said, the admission test of ‘D’ unit was held on Tuesday in different 2 shifts into iu-examsuniversity’s six examinations centers. The 2nd shift which was held at 4.00-5.00 pm in different two sets.

The test was supposed to hold with four subjects including Physics, Chemistry, English and Mathematics. But the question papers of the unit of ‘B’ set was found doubling of the subject of Chemistry expecting 9 questions of Chemistry and 10 questions of English. As a result, the admission seekers felt hesitation to fill up their answer script.

The ‘D’ unit exam committee provided the missing question papers to the examination centers, some invigilators said.

Later, the authority formed a probe committee headed by its treasurer Professor Dr. Selim Toha, to investigate the incident of ‘D’ unit question missing on Tuesday night.

The others probe body members’ are- the university’s acting registrar SM Abdul Latif and Professor Kazi Aktar Hossain, the dean of Business Administration faculty.

The university authorities asked the probe body to submit their investigation reports as soon as possible.

‘D’ unit coordinator Professor M Shamsul Alam confessed the incident was happened due to the printing missing. We provided the missing questions immediately.’
