A discussion meeting and 2-day long solo photo exhibition of Shakil Hossain on ‘Joys and Sorrows of Child Labors’ organized by Ghasful, a media house was held on 21 August ’15, Friday evening at Biswa Shahittya Kendro.
Presided over by Additional Secretary and Director General of Directorate of Family Planning and renowned rhythm-writer Alam Talukder, Professor Dr AAMS Arefin Siddiq, Vice Chancellor of Dhaka University was present as the Chief Guest.
Started by recitation of poems by Kamrul Hasan and Mushfiq Hassan Shabab, Ata Sarkar introduced the program and Advocate Parvin Akter presented the Keynote Paper, while Ali Imam, Prof. Nurul Karim Nasim, Shafiqul Islam Selim, Jharna Rahman, Jajabar Mintoo, Anwar Hasan Babu and Photographer Shakil Hossain discussed.
Earlier the Solo Photo Exhibition of Shakil Hossain was inaugurated by the chief guest. Ibtida Farhat Tropa and Mahmud Hasan Rubel anchored the whole progam.
