EDU wins women entrepreneurs’ summit

A team namely ‘Creative Females,’ composed of East Delta University (EDU) students Samina Arefeen, Shabnam Rahman and Afra Anika won the first place in the ‘Sustainable Business Idea’ category at Women Entrepreneurship Summit arranged by JobMarketBd.com, hosted by the Asian University for Women (AUW) in Chittagong recently.

Abu Horaira (CEO, JobMarketBD.com), Samira Zuberi Himika (Founder and Managing Director of Team Engine), and Lutfa Sanjeeda (Fashion Designer, Ex-Director CWCCI). A driven team called ‘Creative Females,’ composed of East Delta University (EDU) students Samina Arefeen, Shabnam Rahman and Afra Anika won first place in the ‘Sustainable Business Idea’ category.

 

Their business plan was based on a social business model, which emphasizes on common good along with profit.
