The Closing and Prize Distribution ceremony of 4th BAF-Dutch-Bangla Bank Golf Tournament-2014 was held on Saturday at Shaheen Golf and Country Club Patenga, Chittagong.
The program was organized by Shaheen Golf and Country Club, Patenga, Chittagong and sponsored by Dutch-Bangla Bank Ltd (DBBL). Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Mohammad Enamul Bari, ndu, psc has grace the occasion as Chief Guest and distributed the prizes amongst the Winners. KS Tabrez, Managing Director of Dutch-Bangla Bank was present on the event as Special Guest. Among others, Abul Kashem Md. Shirin, Deputy Managing Director of the Bank and senior officials of Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Navy and Bangladesh Air Force and senior officers of DBBL were present on the occasion.
Air Marshal Muhammad Enamul Bari, ndu, psc, Chief of Air Staff expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude to DBBL for sponsoring the tournament for the 4th consecutive year. He also lauded the role of DBBL in providing banking services at the door-steps of the clientele.
KS Tabrez, Managing Director of DBBL congratulated the winners of the event. He added that, Dutch-Bangla Bank being a unique banking institution has made a name for itself by way of carrying out diverse socio-cultural activities in the country.
4th BAF-Dutch-Bangla Bank Golf Tournament-2014 was participated by a total of 229 golfers including 41 ladies and 30 Junior Golfers from various clubs of the country. Cdr Monjurul Hossain Khan, Mrs. Sqn Ldr Shamsun Niher and Master Mahir Muntasir won the Male, Female and Junior Winner respectively while Lt Cdr Mostafizur Rahman, Mrs. Sqn Ldr Mohammad Abu Sadek and Master Alamin won the Male, Female and Junior Runner Up respectively.
