CSE trains stock market professionals in Sylhet

Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) has organised a 2 day training program on “Fundamental and Technical Analysis” in its Sylhet office recently for the broker representatives and investors. A total of 55 participants from 20 broker offices attended in the training.

Mr. Fakhor Uddin Ali Ahmed, former President of CSE who contriubed a lot in developing stock market introduction in Sylhet region inaugurated the training as Chief Guest. In his remarks he said that CSE from its inception underscored investors awareness and financial literacy in CSE SylhetSylhet. Our stock market has been facing dearth of knowledge. Key persons who are delivering frontend service to the investors should know fundamental and technical knowledge of stocks, Industry analysis, updated countries economic information, govt. policy related issues and continuous learning willingness.

He further added that stock market disasters could be minimised if risk factors are handled efficiently by the participants. He also emphasised that CSE should initiate more training and awareness on different topics in future for the 1 lakh investors in Sylhet. He said, a good future is waiting for us and to tap the opportunity, everyone here must have patience and adequate knowledge. He said, Sylhet region contributing 15 to 20% trade every day in country’s stock market. A big potential is there to develop further in Sylhet.

CSE has also arranged same training in Chittagong and Dhaka recently.

CSE’s Training and Awareness Department headed by Mr.AKM Shahroze Alam is organising the training program in different cities in the country. More training topics are coming soon for the investors like Comprehensive Equity Research, Portfolio Management, Art of Reading Annual Report & Prospectus, Financial planning and Wealth Management, Merger and Acquisitions etc.
