Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited has donated Tk. 4 Lac as sponsorship money for Bangladesh Team in upcoming International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) to be held at Indonesia.
A press conference was arranged on 29 November to introduce the participants of the 
Olympiad. Trustee Chairman of Bangladesh Freedom Foundation and Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Jamilur Reza Chowdhury introduced the young scientists while Managing Director of Al-Arafah Islami bank Ltd. Md. Habibur Rahman was present as special guest.
Among others, Deputy Managing Director of the Bank Kazi Towhidul Alam, Vice President Jalal Ahmed, renowned scientist Dr. Rezaur Rahman, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Kaykobad and Vice President of Society for the Popularization of Science, Bangladesh Munir Hasan were also present in the occasion.
