Airtel ‘Recharge Retailer Kit’ to help Savar victims

Airtel Bangladesh Ltd, the fastest growing telecom operator of the country, has initiated to stand beside the affected people of the disastrous collapse of the eight story commercial building in Savar last year. The Top Team of Airtel Bangladesh handed over ‘Recharge Retailer Kit’ to the Savar tragedy affected people at an event organized in Gulshan area of the capital.

Airtel Bangladesh will be providing 61 Savar tragedy affected people with handsets, connections, recharge load and Airtel branded shop kiosks. Under the plan, the tragedy affected people will be able to provide service as Airtel retailers. The Savar tragedy affected people will also be given appropriate training on how to function as retailer.

The fund for this initiative has come from the donations made by Airtel employees and the company itself.

During the event Rajnish Kaul, Chief Operating Officer, Noor Muhammad, Chief Human Resource Officer, Ashraful Haq Chowdhury, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, Jayesh Patel, Chief Supply Chain Management Officer, Sakib Sikder, Head of Legal, A M M Golam Towhid, Head of Sales of Airtel Bangladesh Limited, were present where the COO and CHRO handed the Savar tragedy affected people with handsets.
