Airtel introduces airCredit – the prepaid loan service    

Airtel Bangladesh Limited, the fastest growing telecom operator of the country, is introducing a new service named airCredit which will allow customers to recharge their mobile account balance on credit.

Airtel is helping its prepaid customers to take a sundry credit/loan for emergency situations when customers run out of their account balance,  or cannot recharge due to geographical constraints or inadequate amount of money, or is facing time constraint; etc. Valued customers of Airtel will be able to use the loans for recharging their main account where they will be allowed BDT 5 and BDT 10 loans.

airtel22Customers will also be able to claim SMS loans for 25 SMS for 1 day, 75 SMS for 2 days and even internet loans of 10 MB for 1 day, 20 MB for 3 days along with other loans for various VAS services which will be added later on. Airtel customers can avail the service by dialing the USSD code *141# (via Airtel Gifting Service), *141*10# (direct) or call the IVR on 20141. The maximum balance allowed for taking any loan will be BDT 4.99 for a customer to be eligible to take the loan. Customers will be allowed to take loans only if their previous loan is fully paid back.

This service will be allowed for Airtel’s prepaid customers only and the eligibility will be based on Age on Networks (AON) of customers.
