AIBL signs MoU with HAAB

Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd (AIBL) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh (HAAB), an association of Government License holder Hajj Agencies.

Under the agreement HAAB will now use the online banking facilities of the branches of Al-Arafah Islami Bank. The Hajjis who want to pilgrim the Holy Kaaba can also use the special banking services.

20140312_AIBL_HAAB_PressThe MOU was signed between Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited and HAAB on Monday, at the Board Room of the bank. Md. Habibur Rahman, Managing Director of Al-Arafah Islami Bank and Mohammad Ibrahim Bahar, President of HAAB signed the agreement on behalf of their respective sides.

The signing ceremony was attended by Md. Mofazzel Hossain, Deputy Managing Director, Kazi Touhidul Alam, Deputy Managing Director, Mohammad Abdul Jalil, Deputy Managing Director of Al-Arafah Islami Bank and Abdul Kabir Khan Zaman, Senior Vice President, Aftab Uddin Chowdhury, Vice President, Shaikh Abdullah, Seretary General, Farid Ahmed Mazumder, Joint Seretary General and Mozammel Hossain Kamal, Finance Secretary of the HAAB were present in the program.

With the new understanding HAAB will use the banking facilities of Al-Arafah Islami Bank.

The Bank will also provide special services to the Hajjis who want to visit the Holy Kaaba with its dedicated service desk named ‘Hajj Service Desk’.
