Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd (AIBL) opens its 136th branch at Kaliakoir, Gazipur on 25 July 2016. Director of the Bank Alhajj Nazmul Ahsan Khaled inaugurated the branch as Chief Guest. Managing Director Md. Habibur Rahman presided over the ceremony.
Head of AIBL Dhaka North Zone Md. Atiqur Rahman delivered the welcome speech. The occasion was addressed by Mayor of Kaliakoir Pourashabha Md. Mujibur Rahman, prominent businessmen Md. Azibur Rahman, Md. Humayun Kabir Khan, Md. Salahuddin and Md. Shamsul 
Haque. Among others Senior Vice President Engr. Md. Habib Ullah and Vice President Jalal Ahmed were present in the inauguration. A large number of local peoples, businessmen, clients and well-wishers participated on the program. Manager of the branch Md. Rabiul Islam thanked the audience.
Chief Guest Alhajj Nazmul Ahsan Khaled, in his speech, said Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd. was established not for making profit by doing business but only for the welfare of the society. Managing Director Md. Habibur Rahman, in his speech, invited all to have the blessings of Islamic banking service. He also said, only Islamic banking system can boost-up the economy of the country.
