300 Bangladeshi stranded on Saipan

Around 300 Bangladeshis, lured with overseas jobs, are now suffering as they have run out of cash and lack earning opportunities in Saipan in the Pacific, reports The Guam Daily Post. Petrobangla to set up LNG infrastructure dev project

Petrobangla in collaboration with M/s Petonet LNG, India will set up a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Infrastructure Development Project at an estimated cost of 950 million US Dollars. Govt, ADB ink $ 167m loan deal for gas sector

The government today signed with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) a $167 million loan agreement for financing a project to improve infrastructure and operational efficiency of the country’s gas sector. The Asian Infrastructure Development Bank (AIIB) is expected to co-finance the project with an additional $60 million. The total cost of the project is $453 million, of which the government will finance $226 million from its own source, reports BSS.
